Description:

The African Birdseye (aka African Bird, Malawi Bird, Zimbabwe Bird, Peri Peri, and Piri Piri) has grown wild throughout Africa for centuries and is now cultivated. A very pungent chilli with a sharp biting flavour and a delicious underlying sweetness. It is also easy to dry in order to make hot flakes or powder.
